I’ve been writing for as long as I can remember.
When I was little it was made-up stories of elephants. When I was a young mum the stories got raw and personal. Somewhere along the way I grew old(er), got smarter and found value in privacy. I also learned about the law of attraction. The grass is greener where you water it. What you focus your energy on, grows. It doesn’t mean there’s never a cloud in sight. It means you don’t dwell on the negative. It means you consciously look for the good.
I’m a 36-year-old mum of 3. I live a slow life, have a lot of free time on my hands and I’m almost never in a hurry. I’m into baking and birdwatching and I don’t think that’s boring at all.

Occasionally I like to sit down, look around, notice the thousand tiny joys my ordinary little life brings me … and write about it so I wouldn’t forget. The days go by so quickly. Seasons come and seasons go. The kids grow like tumbleweed. The boys are no longer sweet toddlers and the baby is turning into a toddler more and more every day. I want to remember the time when they were little. I want them to grow into confident, kind adults who know their worth and how much they were loved. How much they a r e loved. How much we cared for them and truly did out best to try and give them a happy childhood. How much joy they brought us.
I’m glad to say I have reached the age where I don’t share my messy bedroom or arguments with my husband on social media anymore just to prove that I’m human, too. Nor do I care to see or read about other people’s bad hair days. We all have them. (The arguments and days of low energy, I mean.)
These days I just want to write about the things that make life beautiful.
If this is something that inspires you as well – welcome. If I manage to make you notice the glimmers in your own life, wonderful. If you would like to let me know about it, my email is always open.
